West Dover Elementary School Newsletter January 2012 http://www.trschools.com/westdover/ From the Principal’s Desk By Mr. Michael Pallen As we enter 2012, I first want to wish the entire West Dover community a happy and healthy New Year. 2011 flew by and the New Year promises to be a very busy year for our staff and students. There will be many exciting educational and entertaining activities for all of the children. Just some of the many activities include: Field Trips, Assemblies, Band, Orchestra, and Chorus concerts, Star Student Lunches, and NJASK testing. I encourage you to take advantage of the many night-time educational activities planned for the upcoming year. After a concerted fund-raising effort by our fantastic PTO, your children will soon be playing on a state-of-the-art, brand new playground! Thank you for all of your support in the last year in all of the fundraising efforts for this piece. It looks awesome and the students will surely enjoy it! Also, a huge thank you to to our teachers who generously donated their allotment from their Teachers Grant. Stay warm in these frigid days!
