THE ARMOUR OF LIGHT
“The way of man is not in himself, it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.” ~ Jeremiah 10:23
“No problem confronts you that I cannot resolve. Confess, and I will forgive, and I will extricate you from this situation. I will go
with you Myself and make the crooked places straight and we will go on again, together. This time you will waiting for My leading.
Wear the armour of the Spirit, and you have My protection. Fear not what others can do to harm you. Fear only your own
tendency to act independently.“ [June 30 ~ “One-Minute Meditations” - Come Away My Beloved ~ by Francis J. Roberts]

SABBATH SCHOOL OFFERINGS
Mission: Used to spread the gospel throughout the world
Expense: Used to purchase quarterlies for all classes and also the weekly papers and supplies for the children’s divisions
INVESTMENT: 2016 Combined labels turned in to date: 262
Help us raise money for Missions by saving your Loma Linda, Worthington, Morningstar Farms, Cedar Lake and Vibrant Life labels
[including UPC codes]. Place them in the Investment Box in the lobby on the table when you come to Sabbath School and/or
Church. Each label collected and turned in to the conference earns $0.05 for missions. We are waiting for the 2015 numbers from
CCC.
13th SABBATH: Used for special mission projects [2nd quarter mission offerings go to the North Asia-Pacific Division]. You can
donate to the 13th Sabbath offering by placing money in a Tithe envelope and marking it “13th Sabbath”; placing in any SS and/or
church offering plates. ~ *See the back of your quarterlies for exact locations and projects your money will help fund.

~ Many hands make light work
~ Bring foods prepared and ready to serve
~ Bring enough food to feed your family and 5 guests
~ Clean your tables when done
~ Properly dispose of trash and recyclables as appropriate
~ The Potluck Teams are NO LONGER preparing and cooking foods on Sabbath mornings. ALL foods need to be prepared in
advance. Suggestions for preparing foods at home: Casseroles; soups and hot dishes should be pre-cooked and pre-heated at
your home. To keep foods warm wrap containers in towels and/or newspaper and place them in a box. Salads should be pre-made
as much as possible. Fruits should be pre-cut. We realize some salads and fruits cannot be prepared prior to Sabbath morning;
however, please prepare them as much as possible at home. Thank you.
~ If you have any questions, are not on the potluck email list and wish to receive notices about our upcoming potlucks or desire help
or join a team, please contact Kathy Bylard at bylard@sbcglobal.net.
