This is one of the busiest roads in North Yorkshire with an estimated 21,500 cars a day passing the site. The A61 is the main road between Leeds and Harrogate and connects a number of the affluent south Harrogate suburbs, such as Burn Bridge, Follifoot, Kirkby Overblow, North Rigton etc. The site is served by the number 36 bus route, only a 2 minute walk away. The new shop units will front directly onto the car park facing the main road and the proposed restaurant will be located adjacent to the gardens and Crimple Beck.
