The Newberry Library recognizes the contributions
of lineage and genealogical organizations that help
the library preserve our cultural heritage for future
generations and serve as a resource for all those seeking to
trace their ancestry and better understand and appreciate
our nation’s history. Gifts/grants may be unrestricted (to
support the general operations of the library) or restricted
(to support a particular project, program, or department).
For Charter Members: Invitation to a special opportunity
to learn about preserving your organization’s records for
posterity from the Newberry’s Director of Conservation.
Silver – $2,500 and above
•Recognition in a special Heritage and Genealogical
Society category in the Newberry’s Annual Report.

Society category on the donor plaque in the
Newberry’s lobby.

A genealogical tree of the Lippincott family in America,
from the ancestors of Richard and Abigail. Published:
[Philadelphia : J.L. Smith], 1880.
This nineteenth-century family tree traces one Quaker Family’s
history to colonial origins, each leaf bears the name of a Lippincott
decendant, color-coded by generation.
