The formation program will include a spiritual directors’ component as well as a more focused program for those desirous in guiding others in the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius Loyola. This residential program will unfold over three (3) consecutive summers. After the first summer session the candidates will lead another/s in the initial stages of the spiritual life. This will be done under competent supervision as well as the guidance of a mentor from the Lanteri Center. The candidate would also guide someone through the 19th annotation (Daily Life Exercises) experience of the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius Loyola. This again would be experienced under supervision as followed by a mentor. There are two prerequisites for admission to this program: 1] Be, at the time of application, in spiritual direction; 2] have experienced the “full Exercises” of Ignatius Loyola, i.e. a 30-day retreat or the Exercise in Daily Life, as known as the 19th annotation Exercises. For a detailed brochure and/or application form, please contact: Fr. Ernest Sherstone omv at 303-298-1498 or lantericenter@aol.com. You can also write to the above address.
