NEWS AND EVENTS
Dr Allan Grunt, consultant Edexcel conducted a two day’s workshop for the staff members of
the School on the topic “Implementation of Edexcel teaching/learning pattern in the
School”.The workshop aimed at training staff members on new teaching practices in class
rooms,new assessment criterias with regards to the edxcel programme and effective
approach of conducting the classes.
The famous Mohiniattam dancer Dr Devika Methil represented Spic Macey and
visited the School .Spectacular and devine dance form displayed by the exponent
elated the teachers and students as well. She not only explained the different
mudras but also described the important aspects and history of Mohiniattam. She
interacted with the students and answered to their queries also.
Z net work organized a painting competition “Magic Brushes” in the School for 4
to 10 year old children on 28th Sep 2010 .The theme was “My favourite Toon”.The
competition was organized with the proficient guidance of the Art teacher Ms
Saista.

Folk/Classical Dance Competition
Several In-house competitions were also organised in the School this month according to a
pre-scheduled programme. There was a folk/Classical Dance Competition held for classes I,II
