Zurich Dialogue:
Challenges, concepts,
and controversies in
addiction
Dear Colleagues,
Although science and clinical experience have created
a wealth of tools and richness of materials in our current
intellectual environment this is often stored in little boxes
Program
of specialization, protected through walls of ignorance. We
want to open these boxes with the help of the best minds
in the field. We want to understand what future concepts
may look like, what controversies could inspire the coming
generation of clinicians and researchers in their struggle for
better care in the field of addiction. The current discussion
on a new classification and underlying models of addiction is
a brilliant starting point.
