Its purpose is to measure the academic performance and growth of schools. The goal for all schools and districts is to achieve an 800 API score. The API was established by a state law passed in 1999 that created a new academic accountability system for K-12 public education in California. DISTRICT API Score = 858 est. Today, about one in eight women will develop breast cancer. A person’s age, genetic factors, personal health history, and diet all contribute to breast cancer risk. Men can get breast cancer. 30 minutes of exercise five days a week can cut cancer risk by 20%. There are currently 2.5 million breast cancer survivors living in the United States.
