After obtaining three 1st prizes at the Paris National Conservatory of Music and several international prizes with the Pantoum trio, Stéphanie Paulet learned orchestra practice for more
than 10 years under the batons of C. Abbado, B. Haïtink, G. Solti, G. Prêtre, D. Harding, P.
Herreweghe.
She has a passion for baroque violin that she studied with O. Edouard, E. Gatti, T. Albert.
She is regularly invited to guest as a solo violin by the ensembles of Gérard Lesne, Christophe
Rousset, Emmanuelle Haïm.
She also performed as a chamber musician on the main international stages across Europe
and the US: Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris, Barbican Center and Prom’s in London,
Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Mostly Mozart Festival and Carnegie Hall in New-York,
alongside Emmanuelle Haïm, Christophe Rousset, Gérard Lesne…
She distinguished herself as a soloist by playing J.S. Bach's Double Violin Concerto with the
Concert d'Astrée in Paris and London.
She now dedicates herself to solo recital and chamber music. The ensemble Il Convito that she
created with Claire and Maude Gratton has performed in Sweden, Central America, Canada
and the US.
Stéphanie frequently plays with François Lazarevitch, Arnaud Marzorati, Sandrine
Chatron, Daniel Isoir, les Lunaisiens, the Da Pacem ensemble, with whom she recorded
several albums for the music labels Alpha, Naïve and K617.
In 2011 she will release her début album under the label Agogique with her ensemble
Aliquando around the virtuoso violinist and composer Louis Gabriel Guillemin.
Holder of the National Certificate, she currently teaches violin at the Hochschule in Bremen,
Germany.
