You may see Brooke hopping around and you wouldn’t believe why.
Talk about a freak accident, she was going to filling her rabbit water
bottles when she knocked two of them together breaking one and then
stepped on the glass. She called me and I spent thirty minutes torturing
before sending her off to the doctors. Her regular
doctor would touch it and sent her to an orthopedic
surgeon. His trainee and he spent an hour trying
to get it out to no avail so they scheduled her for
surgery this morning (Wednesday). Hence we are
sitting in the waiting room working on the
newsletter.

4th of July begins with Hat decorating at 11 am Saturday. If you
don’t have a hat to decorate we have something for you. Let’s
dress them up with sequins, confetti, ribbons, glitter and feathers
to wear in the parade. Monday evening decorations for your golf
cart, bike, wagon, sweatshirt, etc. can be picked up at the lodge.
If it looks like rain or is damp you may want to put it all together
the morning of the parade. The service at the flagpole is already
coming together with horses, music and stories. Jan welcomes
you to express what the day means to you any way you like. She
can give you suggestions if you like. Just ask her at F3 or whenever you see her around the park or at the lodge.
Bocce court is located
on the north side of A7
on the golf course. Join
the group Sat & Sun 10
am.
New
players
welcome anytime.
Mini horse grooming and walking
is at 10 am Sat (sometimes Sun
too, ask Erin). Let her know if
you’d like to make them part of
the parade. It’s so much fun to
decorate them too!
Our next bus trip is scheduled for Sunday July 3rd
to Back to the Wild rescue center. Normally, they
are closed on Sundays but we have a private tour
at 11 am. This is an awesome place if you love
animals, birds, eagles & nature. We can picnic in
the shade there and she would like to know if they
can make a bonfire for us. It’s a great opportunity
you and your children will enjoy immensely. Sign
up now seats are limited.
Pat Coleman would like to thank the person
who so kindly lined her flower bed with 6 solar
lights. She loves them and they look beautiful.
