We are a coalition that is made up of students, parents, and community leaders all working together to make Southington a better place to live. Our best dancer! New Billboard Reminds Residents of Law An awareness and education campaign to reduce underage drinking is well on its way from the STEPS Parent Committee. A new billboard just went up on Rt. 10 in Southington as one of the ways to get the message out that the legal drinking age is 21. Click HERE to read more. Red Ribbon Rally The 2013 Southington Red Ribbon Rally was a huge success! Over 500 students, parents, and community leaders gathered on the Town Green to tell our community that we are drug free. PARENT COMMITTEE Did you see us at Open House? Over 60 parents signed up to join the movement to help keep kids and families in Southington safe and healthy. One major way to do this is to make sure youth feel valued, not just by teachers and parents, but the entire community in which they live.
