This region was known as the Greater Yellowstone Region. In 2005, this committee began the transition to a standalone tax exempt 501 (c)(3) organization. This transition was completed in 2006. The founders saw the need to enhance the capacity of donors and charitable organizations in this part of the state via a local grassroots organization that offers services that are otherwise not available to small non-profits and donors in the area. BCF’s primary geographical focus area consists of, but is not limited to, the following counties: Yellowstone, Carbon, Stillwater, Big Horn, Custer, Treasure, Rosebud and M u s s e l s h e l l . Through BCF, you can make a contribution or set up a fund of any size to support the cause(s) you love most. BCF gives people of both great and modest means a way to contribute to the betterment of their community in perpetuity. BCF offers professional management of funds that are invested through local firms with donor advice. How To Contribute Send contributions to: Billings Community Foundation P.O.
