Daily Eucharistic Adoration - 5 am - 12 midnight
Parish Mission Statement:
"To come to Christ and lead others to Christ"
PASTORAL REFLECTION
The TV show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
would find little evidence in John's account of
the Resurrection: a stone rolled away, an
empty tomb, burial cloths, and a head covering
in a separate place. Yet, such is the evidence
that made Mary of Magdala, Simon Peter, and
the disciple whom Jesus loved believe that
Jesus was raised from the dead. Our witness
stories can seem just as sparse: hope in the
face of despair, acceptance of a terminal illness,
unexpected forgiveness, or...fill in the blank.
How has God raised you when death and
darkness seemed stronger?
Mark your Calendars for April 3!
We will be having a parish potluck to welcome
all newcomers that have moved into the parish
during this last year, all who entered the
Church at the Easter Vigil and any families with
new babies.
Potluck will begin at 5:00 pm. You are asked
to bring a meat dish, a salad or a desert.
Drinks and table service
provided.
Please come and welcome all
who are new to our parish.

Really Present
In order to adore Jesus well, we must
remember that he is really present--as a living person-in the Most Blessed Sacrament. There he glorifies,
and continues all the mysteries and virtues of his
mortal life. We must remember that the Holy
Eucharist is Jesus Christ, past present and future.

SPIN: Spiritual Intimacy in Marriage Retreat, presented
by John and Mary Jane Gresham is for married couples
looking to grow in spiritual intimacy with each other
and with the Lord when they pray together. This retreat,
co-sponsored in partnership of the Archdiocese of
Omaha, the Pro Sanctity Movement, and St. Benedict
Center, teaches some simple methods for praying
together and gives opportunities to practice them as a
couple. Everyone from newlyweds to older married
couples will learn some spiritual practices that will help
them to enter more fully into the grace of their
sacrament of matrimony. It includes talks, personal and
couple reflection time, Mass and Reconciliation.
The retreat runs from Saturday 9 a.m. to Sunday after
lunch. The program fee is $70 per couple. Couples who
bring a friend couple with them, i.e. both register
together, get a discount of $10. For more information,
call St. Benedict Center 402-352-8819.

Living Mercy in the Jubilee Year of Mercy - God "desires our wellbeing and
he wants to see us happy, full of joy, and peaceful," said Pope Francis. He goes on to say
this is the path all Christians must follow. To do this, he says "we are called to be merciful
to each other."
