13 brightly lit floats, 2,500 performers around the world,
entertaining 150,000 spectators along the Parade Route

Live Broadcast on TVB Jade and HD Jade Channels received 21.7 TVR with a station share 96.4%.
The audience reach of the show is up to 2,064, 700 of the population.

The Event
With the theme “Sweet 20.World Party ” the 20th staging of Chinese New
Year Parade was held on 19 Feb 2015, first day of Chinese New Year
 Successfully engaged 13 floats,
10 international groups, 11 local groups and
11 pre-show groups
 Total of 2,500 international & local
performers participated
 Hosting all invited overseas group at one
hotel in 169 rooms
 Over 1000 KGs of props were delivered to
Hong Kong for the Parade

 Around HK$80m local publicity value was recorded for the 2015 Parade
(Around HK$77m was recorded with 2014 parade)
 Over 180 pcs of coverage mentioning/reporting 2015 ICNYP
 Publicity value was contributed by press conference, media pitching,
float preview, performing groups rehearsal and event day coverage
 Electronic media: over HK$68m
 Print media & major web news: over $11M
 Over 47 reporters from 18 local media organizations have attended the
parade on 19 Feb 2015
 Free to air internationally through 3 satellite feeds, namely IS8C-Band,
Aisasat 3S C-Band and Napa Teleport (IS9 KU-Band)
 25 overseas journalists representing 12 media organizations from 8
countries and over 31 foreign correspondents attended the parade
