There is a seamless granularity with the tannins that go in a straight line, and keep going and going. Super.” CATENA ZAPATA MALBEC ARGENTINO 2012 “The palate is concentrated yet feels light. Balance, harmony, power and freshness.” CATENA ZAPATA NICASIA VINEYARD MALBEC 2011 “The 2011 Malbec Catena Zapata Nicasia Vineyard is a single-vineyard Malbec that was barrel fermented with 8% whole-cluster Cabernet Franc. There is perfect ripeness and ultra-polished tannins that are juicy and very tasty.” CATENA ZAPATA NICASIA VINEYARD MALBEC 2012 “An elegant nose and the palate almost reflects the tension in the skin of the grapes with its a velvety texture and great acidity. This is really tasty and long, it could be the best Nicasia ever produced.” 95 POINTS 98 POINTS CATENA ZAPATA ADRIANNA VINEYARD MALBEC 2011 “The sense of place here is tremendous, it transfers you to the Gualtallary vineyards at the foot of the Andes with its stony, chalky soils. There is a sense of harmony and subtlety like you rarely see. The wine dances on the tongue and seems light on its feet, yet has a hidden power and concentration that is noticeable on the finish. The flavors stay forever on the finish and the lips are salty. Otherworldly. Words do not do justice to this beauty. It goes far beyond the variety, I didn't think about Malbec, I thought about the place and forgot about the grapes. The flavors linger in your mouth forever. I'd love to encounter this wine again in ten years’ time.” CATENA ZAPATA ADRIANNA VINEYARD MALBEC 2012 “Aromas of peach, red and black cherries with a spicy twist. The palate is really intense, with electric acidity and ultra-fine tannins. It ends very tasty and long.” ©2015 · Selected & Imported by Winebow, Inc., New York, NY · www.thewinebowgroup.com MALBEC ARGENTINO 2012 94 Wine Advocate 2011 95 Wine Advocate 2010 94 Wine Advocate 2009 95 Wine Advocate 2008 97 Wine Advocate 2007 97 Wine Advocate NICASIA VINEYARD MALBEC 2012 95 Wine Advocate 2011 92 Wine Advocate 2010 93 Wine Advocate 2009 94 Wine Advocate 2008 95 Wine Advocate 2007 95 Wine Advocate ADRIANNA VINEYARD MALBEC 2012 95 Wine Advocate 2011 98 Wine Advocate 2010 96 Wine Advocate 2009 97 Wine Advocate 2008 97 Wine Advocate 2007 96 Wine Advocate ©2015 · Selected & Imported by Winebow, Inc., New York, NY · www.thewinebowgroup.com
