Staff in the Spotlight:
Employee of the Month!
Nohely Sanchez
Nohely is our Employee of the Month! She is the
housekeeper at WindSong and does an amazing
job keeping everything sparkling clean. Nohely
has lived in Keizer, OR since she was a baby. She
attending McNary High School, after which, she
went to beauty school. Nohely is 21 years old.
Her favorite past times include dancing and
shopping. Nohely describes herself as
loud...which we find hard to believe. When
asked what her favorite aspect of her job here at
WindSong was, she stated that is was,
“Interacting with the residents, they are like
family to me.” Thank you Nohely for your dedication to our community!
Resident in the Spotlight :
Rosalie Kilgore
Rosalie is the loving mother of 5. She
has 4 daughters and one son who are extremely supportive and can be seen at
WindSong daily visiting their Mom. She
has 10 grandchildren as well. Rosalie is
from Turner, OR where she lived as a child
and later raised her family with her late
husband. She was known is the community
as someone whose home was always open
to the neighborhood kids. She enjoys visiting and chatting with anyone and everyone. If you listen closely, you will likely
hear and interesting story from Rosalie.
We love her smiling face and gentle
personality!


Life Enrichment
This month the Men’s Group of Windsong Memory Care have finished building our work bench for the
men’s shed. A big thank you to the family of room # 9 for donating the work bench and tools for us to
expand our men’s group building projects. We will be building lock and switch boards this month for the
residents to build hand strength.
Great things are happening here at Windsong!
The men have picked Annette’s Restaurant as our monthly lunch outing for the men’s group.
This is a great time for us to sit around and visit with all the men of Windsong at Eola Hills.
Dietary Department
In August we will continue to roll out new menu items weekly. Some of these meals will be Seasoned
Tilapia, Stuffed Pepper Casserole, Honey Mustard Chicken and many more.
New dessert item we have been doing consist of Lemon bars, Cheesecake, Fruits of the Forest Pie and
many more.

At our last Food Committee Meeting Fred Chambers was elected to serve as chairman. Verda Janzen &
Barbra Wynhoff were elected as co-secretaries. This committee will meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday
of the month.
Topics of discussion at this meeting were Quiche, Pizza, Spaghetti, Granola, Cobblers, Lots of Chocolate
(any chocolate is good) among other things.
