Our program tied with Penn State, the University of Maryland, and the University of Washington, and outranked institutions such as Boston College, Carnie Mellon University, Case Western Reserve, the University of Wisconsin, Michigan State, and Ohio State. “By placing 14th in the country in the U.S. News & World Report college rankings, our Management program has achieved an important national distinction,” Dean Eisenhauer noted. “We have earned our reputation by focusing on three elements of education that are central to our mission: competence, compassion, and conscience. Our students not only acquire competence through first-rate technical and evaluative skills, but they also develop conscience by studying business ethics, and compassion for others by undertaking service learning and social outreach in the Jesuit and Mercy traditions.” “And this recognition is significant because it demonstrates that students can receive a world-class business education right here in Detroit, with access to top-ranked faculty and academic programs, as well as internships and career opportunities at major corporations,” Eisenhauer added.
