Provide us with your name, hospital, room number, phone number and, when possible, how long you will be hospitalized. If you are unable to attend Mass, due to poor health, illness or advanced age, please call so a Eucharistic Minister can bring Communion to you. Anointing of the Sick may be requested because of scheduled surgery or treatment for a life-threatening illness. Call us prior to your surgery or treatment. Anointing of the Sick at Mass may be celebrated before you go into the hospital. Directly inform one of our priests or call one of our Pastoral Administrators. WELCOME, we’re glad you’re here! The community that lived there was dispersed to other Mercy run facilities in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Long Island. On May 18th an Evening of Mercy will raise funds to renovate a building in Queens that will serve as a new home for approximately 30 Sisters. Page 6 St. Athanasius Church PARROQUIA SAN ATANASIO BOLETIN PARROQUIAL HISPANO MISA EN ESPAÑOL CADA DOMINGO EN LA IGLESIA DE ABAJO PARA LOS NIÑOS A LAS 10 AM EN LA IGLESIA DE ARRIBA PARA LOS ADULTOS A LA 1 DE LA TARDE April 18, 2010 Es asi como en el pasaje del Evangelio Jesús se les aparece a los Apóstoles de Nuevo y va con una pregunta particular a Simon Pedro , pero que hay mas alla de esa pregunta o cual era el objetivo de Jesús al sondear en Pedro cuanto lo amaba? Jesús conoce el fondo de lo que hay en nuestros corazones, asi mismo conocía lo que Pedro sentía por Él , mas aun esto era para darle una preparación o digamoslo bien , era una antelación a los que seria su misión en la tierra, convertirse en el Primer Papa , que es la cabeza de Nuestra Iglesia y seria el Pastor de ese rebaño de ovejas. El amor puede sanar dudas y faltas que hayas cometido , prueba de ello esta en este pasaje con Pedro , tras negar a Cristo tres veces , su verdadero amor y arrepentimiento lo llevaron a Ser un Fiel discipulo y convertirse en Cabeza de Nuestra Iglesia. Pidamos a Jesús hoy dia , para que incentive en nosotros el amor total y fiel , la entrega desmedida a quienes buscan de Dios y sobretodo a ayudar a los mas necesitados y ser asi verdaderos proclamadores de la Resurrección por el mundo que significa traer la Luz y vida a quienes estan en la Oscuridad del Pecado.
