ELB Extreme Road Challenge 2015 ACCOMMODATION Cyclist Accommodation • All cyclists and support will be provided with accommodation for the duration of the challenge Runner Accommodation • WHAT ACCOMMODATION ??? • Runners will be provided accommodation on the night of the awards ceremony in Pietermaritzburg • Shower hour at Little Switzerland Saturday 17th October • All participants and support will be provided with accommodation on the final night of the challenge the final the ELB Extreme Road Challenge 2015 FOOD AND REFRESHMENTS Cyclists • Cyclists and supports will be provided with Bed & Breakfast Runners • Runners and their support will be responsible for providing all their own food and refreshments en-route to PMB • ELB to provide coffee & rusk stations • Runners and support will be provided lunch on arrival to PMB and an Awards Dinner ELB Extreme Road Challenge 2015 CLOTHING • All runners and cyclists will be supplied with ELB Extreme Challenge branded vests and shirts • All support will be supplied with ELB Extreme Challenge T-shirts • Participants and their support are required to wear these at the start and the end of the race ELB Extreme Road Challenge 2015 SAFETY & SUPPORT • Safety • Vehicle Support • Traffic Department permission • Medic / SOS emergency evacuation arranged • Visible at all times ELB Extreme Road Challenge 2015 CYCLIST ENTRY FEES • We would like to encourage each cyclist to raise R5,000 • Monies raised will cover the following: – Bed & Breakfast – 1x cycling top – Refreshments – Road support – Petrol and tolls – Goodie bags ELB Extreme Road Challenge 2015 RUNNER ENTRY FEES • We would like to encourage each runner to raise R3,000 • Monies raised will cover the following: – – – – – – – 1 x vehicle hire per team Basic refreshments en-route 2 x runner tops Road support Petrol and tolls Goodie bags Accommodation on the 17th Oct ELB Extreme Road Challenge 2015 LAST YEAR’S FIGURES • Total raised • Total expenses • Total donation R540,000 R385,000 R155,000 ELB Extreme Road Challenge 2015 2015 FUNDS TO BE RAISED R1 MILLION Target donation to St Vincent = TBC R1 MILLION R30k ELB Extreme Road Challenge 2015 CALLING ALL SPONSORS! • • • • • • Vehicles Contents for goodie bags Refreshments Gear / T-shirts Media coverage MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS!
