HONORED
Rachel Grayson was honored by the
Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee at the 2013
Salute to Outstanding Leadership Awards
ceremony on May 5 at Lipscomb University's
Allen Arena. She was presented with the Girl
Scout Gold Award, the highest achievement

their passion and have a blast doing it! The

Lindsay Kindall is overwhelmed by the
love and support from her new church family.
She and her four year old son, Austin, have
settled into their apartment and have many
nice furnishings—thanks to the generous
hearts of the Hillsboro family. There are
still several oppportunities to provide
encouragement to Lindsay and Austin. A
table is set up in the hall that connects the
old and new parts of the building for you to
drop off items for her new place. Below is
a list of the types of items she needs—new
or used are welcome! Walmart gift cards will
also be a big help.
•Kitchen utensils
•Toaster oven, mixer, other small kitchen
appliances (she has a microwave and coffee
maker)
•Cookware (pots and pans)
•Dishes, cups/glasses, dish towels
•Towels, washcloths, bathmat, shower
curtain
•Doormat
•Toy bins / storage
•Vacuum cleaner, cleaning supplies, and
cleaning equipment (mop, broom, etc.)
•Queen bed linens
•Home furnishings (mirrors, lamps, rugs,
wall décor)
•Furniture (dresser, chest of drawers, end
tables, night stands, etc.)
BUS DRIVERS NEEDED
We have an urgent need for additional
bus drivers on Sunday mornings, evenings
and Wednesday evenings in the Green Hills
area.
• Commercial driver's license is not needed.
• This ministry is open to both men and
women.
• Take a test drive with one or more of our
current drivers.
Several of our members use this service
and appreciate the opportunity to be able
to worship at Hillsboro because of our bus
ministry. To sign up or for more information,
please contact Greg Williams (greg.
williams@lipscomb.edu).
