PATHFINDERS
Students in grades 1 - 5 are currently
engaged in a study from the book of Acts.
They are focusing on the women in this book
who exhibit a servant attitude—women
like Dorcas, Priscilla, and Lydia. To put their
knowledge in action, the children made
blankets for the ladies of Mending Hearts, an
organization that provides shelter, hope, and
healing to women who may be homeless
due to addiction, and/or co-occurring mental
health and substance related disorders.
(Young Families)
Our annual New Year's Eve party is
scheduled for Tuesday night, December 31,
in the fellowship hall. Please bring finger
foods, movies, XBox/PS3, cards, and board
games. Join us for a night of family fun to
ring in the New Year! The gym will also be
open, so dress accordingly. We need all
adults at the party as we have challenged the
kids to another dodge ball game. Party will
begin at 8:00 pm! —Chris Simmons
