IWA Milton Keynes Branch Spring Canal Clean-up Fri 15 - Sat 16 April 2016 Towpath litter-pickers and hopper crew during the Clean-up in April 2015 Photo: Vernon Draper. Join us for our regular Clean-up of the Grand Union Canal through Milton Keynes. This 6-monthly event is sponsored by Wyvern Shipping Co and supported by Canal & River Trust. Everyone is welcome whether on a boat or on foot. Hi-vis jackets, gloves and hard hats etc. are provided, but please bring your own safety footwear. Tea and coffee are provided, but please bring your own lunch. If you are under 18, you must be part of a supervised group. We look forward to seeing you there! Itinerary and Contact: Friday 15th, 09:30: Safety briefing, for 10:00 start at Fenny Stratford Lock. Lunch break midday-ish. Overnight stop at the Giffard Park pub (Bridge 78). Saturday 16th, 09:00: Safety briefing for 09:30 start from Giffard Park pub (parking available). Finish at The Galleon, Old Wolverton (Bridge 68) early afternoon.
