Nan, Poppa, Granny or Koro – whomever the special grandparent or older person is in your life, bring them in to the Library, enjoy some reading together and be in to win a family gondola and 6 luge ride pass from Skyline Rotorua!

Tuesday 27 September, 10.30am - Library Spy Challenges
Be an investigator and complete three library spy challenges - code cracking, the maze challenge and finding hidden fingerprints - to go in the draw to win a real life brass spy glass.
No booking required.
Wednesday 28 September, 1.30pm - Minecraft Mania
Use your observation, maths and spatial awareness skills to make a paper Minecraft torch.

Friday 30 September, 1.30pm - Investigate: Volcano Frenzy
Make your own exploding volcano and investigate real volcanoes through story and discussion. Booking is required for this
activity.
Tuesday 4 October, 10.30am - Investigate: Musical instruments!
Get up close with a variety of instruments at our instrument petting zoo to see, hear and touch them and learn how they
work.

Use your observation and spatial awareness skills for a Minecraft pumpkin paper weaving
activity.

Thursday 6 October, 10.30am - Toitoi Editor Visit
Come and meet Charlotte, the real life editor of Toitoi: A Journal for NZ Young Writers and Artists. Get tips on how to be
published in this super cool journal straight from its creator and editor Charlotte Gibbs. Bring along all your writing and
publishing questions!
