St. Claire Foundation announces new
board chair and vice chair
The St. Claire Foundation Board of Directors has a new chair
and vice chair.
Bill Redwine, Morehead State University assistant vice president
for Auxiliary Services, has assumed the role of Foundation Board
chair. He replaces the late Steve Lewis, who unexpectedly passed
away in May.
“I am looking forward to serving as chair of the Foundation
Board and giving back to St. Claire Regional Medical Center, a
vital community and regional partner in healthcare,” Redwine
said.
As Foundation Board chair, Redwine will also serve on the
St. Claire Regional Board of Directors. He has served on the
Foundation Board since 2003 and resides in Morehead with his
wife, Susette Redwine.
Dr. Emily Settle, who co-owns Tingle & Settle PSC Family
Dentistry in Morehead, is the Foundation Board’s new vice chair.
She joined the board in 2015.
“I am excited to increase my involvement within the St. Claire
Foundation in order to further its mission in providing quality
healthcare to our region,” Settle said.

vice chair
“The passing of Steve Lewis was such a shock and loss,” said
St. Claire Foundation Executive Director Tom Lewis. “He was a
tremendous leader and board chair. We are just so grateful that Bill
and Emily, people of such high caliber and integrity, are willing to
step up and lead our board as we move forward.”
Settle lives in Mt. Sterling with her husband, Stan Settle, and
their three daughters.

Welcome St. Claire Regional’s new cardiologist
St. Claire Regional is pleased to welcome interventional cardiologist Ahmad
Isbitan, M.D., to our cardiology medical staff. Isbitan specializes in cardiac
and vascular disease intervention.
Isbitan earned his medical degree from Jordan University of Science and
Technology in Irbid, Jordan. He completed an internal medicine residency
and a cardiovascular medicine fellowship at Seton Hall University, Newark,
New Jersey. He also completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at
New York Medical College in Patterson, New Jersey. Isbitan is also certified
by the American Society of Echocardiography in vascular ultrasound and

“I am truly happy to be in Morehead and to join Dr. Kahloon
and Dr. Marashdeh in St. Claire Regional’s cardiology practice,”
says Isbitan. “I enjoy helping my patients feel better and live
longer. Often that means diagnosing and treating symptoms, but
sometimes that means I get to help someone instantly by saving a
limb, or even a life.”
Isbitan and his wife, Lubna Nsair, have two daughters, 4-year-old Rama and
6-month-old Tala. In his spare time, Isbitan enjoys traveling and playing golf.
