Led by highly qualified AUS instructors, the course offers flexibility for both high school students (grades 10 to 12) and working professionals who want to take the computerized TOEFL test. The group course is offered daily for four weeks, with a minimum of two 20-minute videos daily. Students view the material at their own convenience. In addition, the instructors work closely with students on a minimum of four graded essays and six graded speaking recordings as extra practice. Register Today Course Material All four components of the TOEFL exam—reading, listening, speaking and writing—are covered in the course, helping you know what to expect on the exam. • Reading: The reading videos offer thorough explanation of all 10 reading skills; bonus practice videos after each lesson to give students immediate, focused practice; and a complete practice exam with an accompanying answer key video that explains and analyzes every answer. Students can review both correct and incorrect choices. • Listening: The listening videos offer thorough explanations of all six listening skills, and a comprehensive, timed practice session. Students can work on this section from anywhere, even without the text/audio CDs, provided they have Internet access. • Speaking: The speaking videos offer thorough explanation of the various speaking skills needed for the TOEFL exam. The videos also offer timed, progressive exercises to develop speaking responses that are fast, thorough and organized. Students will be able to record themselves speaking and send these recordings to AUS instructors for feedback. • Writing: The writing videos offer thorough explanation of the various writing skills needed for the TOEFL exam; analyses of written passages; and exercises geared to help writers achieve cohesion and improve sentence structure. Students will be able to write essays and submit them online to AUS instructors for feedback. Spaces are limited, so register early. Registration can be completed online at www.aus.edu/toefl_online. The cost for the entire four-week course is US$400.
