How to get to AWF16 - Amsterdam Woods Festival

Amsterdam Woods Festival takes place on the Radarterrein of het Amsterdamse Bos. The

Bike
The easiest and healthiest way to travel to Amsterdam Woods Festival is by bike. Next to the
festival entrance you can park your bike. Depart from Amsterdam? There’s a marked bike
route that starts at the Boswinkel, the entrance of the Amsterdamse Bos (Bosbaan 5,
Amstelveen). From there, it takes 15 minutes to bike to the festival. At night, it’s too dark to
bike through het Amsterdamse Bos. Take the bike path next to the A9, Burgemeester
Colijnweg, to Amstelveen. Going to Aalsmeer? Follow the Bosrandweg. Off to Amstelveen?
Then follow Burgeester Colijnlaan.
OV-bikes
On NS-stations Schiphol and Amsterdam Zuid you can rent an OV-bike. From Amsterdam
Zuid it takes 25 minutes to bike to the festival. From Schiphol it takes five minutes longer.

Bosbus
Tired legs? The Bosbus goes to and from the festival between 12.00-17.00 hours and 21.0000.00 hours. It departs at the Boswinkel (Bosbaan 5, Amstelveen). A single ride is € 4,-. You
can pay in cash. It’s possible to reserve your seat. Please see the website of the Bosbus for

to the Boswinkel there’re (night)busses to metro station Amstelveenseweg and Amsterdam
Centraal.
Public transport
Amsterdam Woods Festival can be easily reached from Schiphol by bus. Take bus 193 to
Schiphol Oost and hop off at Brugstraat, Schiphol. Or take bus 199 to NS-station Amsterdam
Zuid and hop off at Stationsplein, Schiphol. You can walk to the festival in ten minutes.
Please notice: the last busses back to Schiphol depart at 00:19 (bus 193) and 00:20 (bus
199). Trains depart from Schiphol every hour, all night long.
Car
Travel by car? Navigate to Nieuwe Meerlaan 1, Amstelveen and follow the signs to the
parking place. A parking ticket online is € 12,50 a day. At the festival you pay € 17,50 a day.
There’s a limited number of parking spots. Please make your reservation before you visit the
festival.
Campsite
You can walk to the campsite, Camping Het Amsterdamse Bos, in about 15 minutes. The
address is Kleine Noorddijk 1, Amstelveen. Sometimes Schinkeldijkje, Aalsmeer works
bettter for GPS. Go by public transport? Take bus 199 from Schiphol and hop off at Camping
Het Amsterdamse Bos, Aalsmeer.
