Which league should my
child play in?
We have the following categories for
participants in baseball:
5 - 6 yrs old: Rookie
7 - 8 yrs old: Triple A
ome leagues have an “overlap” age.
S
Our goal is to encourage parents to
place their child in a league that fits
the child’s age and ability. Therefore
an 6-year-old who has a firm grasp
of skills and excels at their age group
could consider playing up to be
more challenged. A child who is less
comfortable with their abilities should
stay with the other program we offer.
Grade listed is grade entering in
Fall 2016.
Interested in being a volunteer coach
or assisting with the youth baseball
league? Apply at the Marshfield
Parks and Recreation Office by April
22, 2016. All applications will include
a background check.
