Book Talk: Share what you like about the book, your favorite character, and event. Tell how many stars you will give to the book. You have to write your answers first before coloring. Then cut the drawing following the shape. Make sure you cut outside of the line. 1. BREAD TOP : Write the book title, author, illustrator (if there is one), and your name. 2. LETTUCE : Write a one-paragraph summary of the book. 3. TOMATO : Describe or draw the book's setting. 4. LUNCH MEAT : Describe the main character in one paragraph. 5. CHEESE : Write about a part of the book that made you happy. 6. ONION : Describe a part of the book that you thought was sweet or sad. Also, write what you thought of the book. 7. BREAD BOTTOM : Tell what you liked or didn't like about the author's style. You can also write something about the author. 8. Last put your sandwich together. Fasten it all together with a brad or a ring. Then glue or attach it to a paper plate.
