M A Y 2 0 1 5 the IMPRESSIONS NEWSLETTER OF THE ARKANSAS LEAGUE OF ARTISTS April Demo Artist, Robert Bean Robert Bean, owner-curator of RB Fine Art, is a local painter born and raised in Arkansas. He shared his method to create custom shows to fit specific spaces. He emphasized the use of thumbnail sketches to plan spatial relationships, color schemes, and overall theme for entire shows. Robert refers to his work as “narrative art”. He incorporates architectural elements, human figures and even typography, building images with strong graphic character into dynamic compositions. Most works have a hard edge, high contrast feel to them. Robert is also actively engaged as a curator with Arkansas Capitol Corp and Mugs Cafe in Argenta, North Little Rock. www.rbfineart.com/.
