Hotel de Rome was originally built in 1889 as the
headquarters of the Dresdner Bank. Overlooking the
famous Bebelplatz in the fashionable Mitte district, it
is one of the few buildings in the city that retains its
original form. Collaborating with my sister Olga Polizzi,
Tommaso Ziffer has made full use of the building’s 19th century architecture
when creating the hotel’s modern interiors to achieve a strikingly beautiful
and dramatic design. As in all my hotels, you will find a professional staff
dedicated to a warm and friendly welcome and to ensuring the most
comfortable of stays.
Das Hotel de Rome - direkt in Berlins Mitte am imposanten Bebelplatz
gelegen und 1889 als einstige Zentrale der Dresdner Bank erbaut - hat
als eines der wenigen Gebäude der Stadt die vergangenen Zeiten im
Originalzustand überlebt. In Zusammenarbeit mit meiner Schwester Olga
Polizzi hat Tommaso Ziffer die Architektur des 19. Jahrhunderts liebevoll
mit zeitgenössischen Elementen verbunden und ein wunderschönes und
außergewöhnliches Design geschaffen. In allen meinen Hotels erwartet
