RIT Croatia was my first and only choice, not only because of the language, but also
because of the many job opportunities that are offered throughout the college years and
after graduation, scholarly awards for recognizing hard work and potential in students, as
well as many scholarships and financial assistance when it comes to tuition. All of that is
finally strengthened with the study abroad opportunities, not only at the main campus
in the U.S. but also at RIT Dubai campus, and our campus in Zagreb.

focused on the traditional or classic marketing tools

a vital component in the overall marketing efforts of
an organization. Getting sufficient knowledge about

marketing is no longer the future, it is the present
and it is the right time to start learning about it.
RIT Croatia has been an amazing experience, and I am proud to say it was the perfect
decision for me. While trying to choose a college and the general course my education
was going to take after high school, I found myself wanting to study business but with no
adequate school that could provide me with my subjects of interest and a high quality
education.RIT Croatia gave me the opportunity to not only study business, but every
aspect of it in detail, including: finance, marketing, management and economics.
Studying at RIT Croatia truly makes you a part of something much larger and it is
a completely unique experience you won’t find anywhere else.

RIT Croatia offers the perfect combination of cutting-edge information technologies,

for whichever area I choose to pursue. Studying here has been an incredible experience
for me. I have met many students who share my interests and hobbies. The faculty is very
professional and dedicated to what they do. I am confident that I chose a promising college.
There has been an increasing demand of IT specialists and managers in the world for
a longer period of time now. The current need for IT specialists exceeds the number
of available professionals which means that when I graduate excellent business
opportunities await me both in Croatia and abroad.

advantage as well as an opportunity to take an individual approach towards each student. Professors encourage
students to work independently and to be proactive about their obligations. They teach them about standards
of professional behavior, team work, time management and managing changes. Most of all, they help them

“
I believe that education is an important part of one’s
life which is one of the reasons why I enrolled to RIT’s
program. Financing RIT Croatia became possible for
me thanks to the financial aid provided upon early
admission, and thanks to additional scholarships I’ve
earned during my studies. Learning atmosphere I find
here inspires me to strive for academic excellence and
to participate in different extracurricular activities.
I strongly believe that RIT Croatia is one of the best
places for creative young individuals.

I always wanted to study at RIT Croatia. Thanks to
the financial support that the college offers, my wish
came true. The application process was very simple.
I completed the online application form, wrote a
motivational essay and submitted my high school
transcripts. Then I completed a pleasant motivational
interview with the college staff. I was so happy when I
found out that I had met all requirements and received
a scholarship. Shortly after, I was awarded additional
funds, which meant a lot to me as I’m financing college
with student loans.

SUCCESS STORIES
As an Information Technology graduate, I believe it is important
to choose an education program that has a curriculum tailored
to the needs of the modern business world and that promotes
practical application of the theoretical knowledge. RIT Croatia’s
IT program is really up-to-date and prepares students for the
opportunities and challenges in the IT world through its co-op
program. And that has, I believe, mostly contributed to the fast
development of my career. Namely, I got my current job through
the co-op that I did over the summer. I passed my final exam on
Wednesday and have signed a contract with PHOBS, my current
employer, on Thursday. I’m in love with my job and plan to stay a
part of the PHOBS team. I believe PHOBS will make a significant
influence on IT in tourism in the coming years.
“
RIT Croatia really helped me gain insight into the business world.
Sure we had a lot of homework, projects and courses but the important thing is – we were taught to think strategically and find
solutions to problems presented to us. Furthermore, we were
taught by excellent professors. I have been working in different
countries and I’m sure it was RIT’s American diploma that opened
the door to the world of business for me. In addition, RIT Croatia’s
graduates work in countries all over the world. I am convinced that
the American education and American college that I attended
brings opportunities and possibilities one can only dream of!

RIT CROATIA, CLASS OF 2002
After four years of working for Phillip Morris International, I
decided to change my career. Today, I am a co-founder and an
Executive Director of Prati me d.o.o. company. Looking back, it
all comes down to making decisions at the right time, being at the
right place. And then there’s a decision regarding the education. A
broad education, adapted to today’s market needs, which I gained
at RIT Croatia formerly known as AMCT, has, in a way, made its
mark. During my college years, I did my two-year co-op in the first
American Conference Center, in NY. Then I returned to Croatia
and wanted to get a job as soon as possible. At that time RIT
Croatia organized a Career Education Day so I decided to use the
opportunity and apply. After a few days, 14 companies asked me for
a job interview, and what’s even more astonishing, I left all those
interviews with job offers. I was 23 and had the opportunity to
choose. It was then that I realized how valuable my experience is.
My career is developing nicely today and I hope it will
continue that way in the future.
“
RIT is an amazing stepping stone into the world of business
because students are being taught about professional work habits
and practical experience in innovative and creative ways. The
job offers that I received before the end of my studies from three
different industries show the scope of the program and the value
of the practical knowledge we gain before graduating . At RIT I
learned the value of transferring knowledge and experience from
one industry to another – isn’t it great how you can use the 7 *
hotel user experience and replicate it in a telecom business
or even innovative mobile application?!
