An additional fee of approx. CAN $ 100,- will apply for applications submitted with an Honorary Consul.
17. XPresspost prepaid envelope (standard size) for the return of the passports from the passport office to
your home address by mail.
Shipments within ON or BC require XPresspost prepaid envelope – regional. Shipments to other
provinces require XPresspost prepaid envelope – national.
At the German Consulate General in Toronto passports can be picked up in person only under exceptional
circumstances.
At the German Consulate General in Vancouver passports can be picked up in person. In this case no
XPresspost prepaid envelope is required.
Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
The applicant has to present himself in person at our office when the application is submitted. The
processing time for passports is approx. 8-10 weeks.
