Dülmens Innenstadt mit neuer Anziehungskraft
Für eine nachhaltige Innenstadtentwicklung setzt das „Kaufhaus am Schlosspark“ neue Impulse. Nicht ein
Kaufhaus, sondern ein modular aufgebauter Komplex wurde hier errichtet – mit Lebensmittel- und TextilFachmarkt, zehn Wohn- und drei weiteren Gewerbeeinheiten nebst Tiefgarage. In unmittelbarer Nähe des
Dülmener Zentrums liegt das neue Einkaufszentrum auf einer ehemaligen Brachfläche und Wild-Erweiterung
des Parks, der das von Croy’sche Schloss umgibt. Das Anwesen ist weit über das Münsterland hinaus für
sein einzigartiges Wildpferd-Reservat bekannt.
Entscheidend für den Entwurf des Einkaufszentrums war die vorgefundene Topografie mit annähernd 4 m
Höhenunterschied. Die Umsetzung offenbart mehrgeschossige, großflächige Verkaufsstätten. Sie orientiert
sich mit der Schmalseite an den Raumkanten der Hauptverkehrsachse und weist für beide Geschosse ebenerdige Zugänge auf. Schlicht und klar gegliedert wirkt der Baukörper als ruhiger innerstädtischer Kubus mit
regional typischen Elementen wie hellem Sandstein und Ziegelmauerwerk in Kohlebrandausführung.

A new attraction for Dülmen’s town centre
The “Kaufhaus am Schlosspark“ is creating waves for the long-term growth and development of the town
centre. Not a department store, but a modular complex has been built here – with a specialist food and
clothing market. Ten residential units and three further office units together with a basement car park have
also been built. The new shopping centre is situated right in the centre of Dülmen on a former fallow area
and deer section within the park that surrounds the Palace von Croy’sche. The estate is known far outside
the Münster region for its unique wild horse reservation.
Decisive in the design of the shopping centre was the existing topography with a difference in height of
almost 4 m. The design incorporates several floors of large-scale shopping areas. Its narrow length points
towards the intersection of the main road axis and both levels have ground-floor access. Divided up clearly
and cleanly, the building comes across as a quiet town-centre cube with regional elements, such as the light
sandstone and red brick masonry arranged in ornamental seams.

Haustechnik
Für die Beheizung des Combi-Verbrauchermarktes sowie
des darüber liegenden Kress Modefachmarktes gibt es
jeweils eine Brennwertkesselanlage mit 170/225 kW
Leistung. Sie versorgen die statischen Heizflächen und die
Lüftungsanlage. Im Verbrauchermarkt erfolgt die Belüftung mit nachgeschalteten Ultra Lüftungsgeräten, die an
das Kanalsystem der zentralen Be- und Entlüftungsanlage
angeschlossen sind (Beheizung mit Wärmerückgewinnung). Die Beheizung und Kühlung im Modefachmarkt ist
als 2-Leiter-System konzipiert, welches zur Klimatisierung
von einem luftgekühltem Kaltwassererzeuger gespeist
wird. Durch das Kanalsystem wird vorkonfektionierte Luft
(beheizt oder gekühlt) dem Raum zugeführt.

A condensing boiler has been installed to heat the Combi
supermarket and a further one to heat the Kress fashion
store above it, providing an output of 170/225 kW. They
supply the static heaters and the ventilation system. In the
supermarket itself, ventilation is provided with Ultra air
heaters, fitted downstream, which are connected to the
central ventilation ductwork system (heating by means of
heat recovery). Heating and cooling in the fashion store
operates a 2-pipe system, fed by an air-cooled
chiller to provide air conditioning. The preconditioned air
(heated or cooled) is supplied to the store via the
ductwork system.

Die Märkte im Dülmener Einkaufszentrum spielen in geschickter Kombination die
Vorteile der flexiblen Kampmann-Konzeptlösungen für Verkaufsstätten aus. Dazu
gehören im gesamten „Kaufhaus am Schlosspark“ folgende Hauptkomponenten:
Ultra zur Heizung, Kühlung und Lüftung, Airblock Zu- und Ablufteinheiten, Tandem
Türluftschleier, TOP Lufterhitzer sowie spezielle Mischlufteinheiten.

The markets in Dülmen’s shopping centre cleverly demonstrate the benefits of
combining Kampmann’s versatile design solutions for retail outlets. Throughout
the entire “Kaufhaus am Schlosspark“ these include the following main systems:
Ultra to provide heating, cooling and ventilation, Airblock supply and exhaust units,
Tandem door air curtains, TOP Unit heaters and tailor-made mixed air units.
Im Modefachmarkt wurde nur entlang des exklusiven Randbereichs die Decke abgehängt.

Kampmann’s wide and varied product portfolio can react to all the different demands of
retails outlets to provide comprehensive design solutions. A wide range of heating,
cooling and ventilating systems, a variety of accessories and a system-wide control
design form separate Kampmann “packages“. The standard components of the
products, which can almost be combined in any way in a modular system, can be
adapted to meet specific requirements. The “Kaufhaus am Schlosspark“, for example,
required a made-to-order mixed air unit to be designed.
