SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
• 1/2 yd of 60" fleece: Dachshund
• 14"x28" fleece pillow panel
• 15mm animal eyes
• 18mm animal nose
• 14"x14" Soft ‘n Crafty® pillow insert
• 10 oz Poly-Fil® fiberfill
• 3/4"x 1½" Velcro® brand fastener strip
• Pattern templates: Joann.com®
DIRECTIONS:
1. Print/enlarge pattern to sizes noted.
2. Cut two 14" square pillow panels. Set aside.
3. Cut pattern pieces from fabric.
4. Cut a neck opening on the top pillow panel 1½" from the top using the neck hole template.
5. Sew ear pieces. Sew onto sides of the head.
6. Sew head panel between the head pieces. Sew all head seams.
7. Insert animal eyes & nose, following manufacturer’s instructions.
8. Sew head & neck to neck opening of top pillow panel.
9. Sew tail & leg pieces; stuff. Sew the strap & fastener pieces.
10. Sew legs, tail & straps to the top pillow panel.
11. Sew bottom pillow panel to top pillow panel; leave 4" opening at the tail section.
12. Stuff the head.
13. Insert pillow form through the 4" opening. Hand stitch to close the opening.
