No experience necessary. Use two different size seed beads, stitch and tie a woven beaded strip into a classic Celtic trefoil knot to be used for a pair of pierced or non-pierced earrings. Instructions and materials provided so you may work on the project at home if you are unable to complete it during session. Participants will create a hanging plaque with their name in Doodle Letters. Doodle will be done in black and white, and then color will be added to parts of the design. Bead kit included for hanging. Pick up your finished project approximately one week later once they are fired in the kiln. 8–adult / 1 session / Meltdown $15 (+$15 material fee due to instructor) SPRINGTIME BLOSSOMS BRACELET #14SG12 Sat, May 24, 10am–3pm MARYLAND BASIC BOATING SAFETY Fri & Sun, April 4 & 6, 6–10pm Fri & Sun, May 16 & 18, 6–10pm An eight-hour course that meets the state requirements for boating and personal watercraft safety. In order to operate a motor boat or personal watercraft, persons born after July 1, 1972, are required by Maryland law to successfully complete this certification course. Class includes a review of chart reading, course plotting, and marlinspike (knot tying). Youth age 13 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult. No experience is necessary. This is an easy project to weave using green leaves and pink flower glass beads to create a stunning bracelet.
