PROPOSAL DATA FIELDS
Course type: all that apply

bring? If instructor pre-requisites include in

applies

COURSE LENGTH



Attendance highest in
shorter classes (1:45)
Many attendees teach in
a variety of disciplines
and can’t dedicate a
whole conference day to a
single subject
Shortest blocks are
repeated which helps
attendees with schedule
conflicts
CLASSROOM/AV REQUIREMENTS
We try to match to anticipated needs, e.g.
mats, anticipated attendance.
 No projectiles in hotel meeting rooms, these
courses will be off-site
 All rooms will have projector, screen, speakers
 P.A. systems use is limited because of proximity
of other classes but we have a few for larger
audience courses

SECONDARY INSTRUCTOR


Generally only for hands
on classes that require a
second instructor for
safety or to assist with
direct instruction. They
will receive a conference
tuition waiver.
You may have someone
assist you in your class
that is not attending the
conference but advise the
attendees why this person
does not have conference
