I want to thank our outgoing board members for their service. I also want to welcome our new members and thank our returning board members for their support. A special mention goes out to Peter Elwick for his eight years of service on our board as President. Dealing with the fire damage to our club and being shut down for the year, has been a huge loss to our community. We have missed the hockey, the events, the ice and most definitely the community being at our center. Thankfully, things have been moving forward and we are excited to be opening this fall. We are looking forward to a new year full of many new beginnings: a new building, new programs, new staff, new volunteers, and new board members as well. First, I would like to say, as Windsor’s new President I have some very big shoes to fill. Our community and board would like to thank our Past President, Jackie, for all of her years of dedication to Windsor CC. She has also been instrumental this year in getting the club back up and running for our fall programs. Special thanks to Jackie for her dedication to Windsor CC. Second, I would like to say Thank You to all the board members and volunteers. This is going to be a great year. We are looking forward to seeing everyone once again and reconnecting our community. Winter will be here before you know it, which means so will our ice! Don’t forget your stick and puck…see you there!
