Epiphany School Catholic News Epiphany Catholic School Mission Statement Epiphany Catholic School fosters high expectations in a Christ centered environment for all students in faith, academics and service in the Catholic tradition. Classroom CornerCornerMany thanks to Master Gardener, Mr. Bob Heeke for sponsoring our annual 6th grade spring garden. Mr. Heeke explained the gardening process and helped students get their hands dirty as they planted herbs, fruits, and veggies. Students are writing a diary of observations and developing a “how to” essay to explain the process. We are looking forward to a bountiful harvest! Students donated $1.00 to dress down this past Thursday to raise money to help with costs associated with our Florida State Science and Engineering Fair participants. Good Luck at Science Fair! ~Please prayerfully consider a tax deductable donation to help sponsor our students to participate in the Florida State Science and Engineering Fair this year. Students and families will spend three days in Lakeland, FL to complete with other state regions. Is 53:10) of the suffering Servant, who will “make many righteous; and he shall bear their iniquities” (Is 53:11; cf. Rom 5:19). (CCC 623) As an innocent lamb He (Jesus) merited for us life by the free shedding of His own blood. In Him God reconciled us to Himself and among ourselves; from bondage to the devil and sin He delivered us, so that each one of us can say with the Apostle: The Son of God “loved me and gave Himself up for me” (Gal. 2:20). By suffering for us He not only provided us with an example for our imitation, He blazed a trail, and if we follow it, life and death are made holy and take on a new meaning. (GS 22) From the Vocations Office Jesus emptied himself and became obedient even unto death. Are you willing to die to selfishness? Let Christ reign in your heart! (Philippians 2:6-11). If you think God is calling you to be a priest, call Father David Ruchinski at (904) 262-3200 ext. 101, or email vocations@dosafl.com.
