Notices ADEYFIELD FREE CHURCH Church Meeting Don’t forget Church Meeting is tomorrow 16th May at 8.00pm, here in the Church. Tea and Coffee available from 7.45pm. Tehillah, Tehillah who was part of AFC some years ago – has died. She had been in a home for the last 2 years and sadly, had a fall, which resulted in her having a heart attack. The funeral service is to be taken by John Hardaker on Thursday 19th May at 2.40pm at Garston. Tehillah’s daughter has said that any old friends who would like to come would be very welcome. Update from Val Pyper Some of you may not know but Jon and I are leaving Little Kimble soon as I take on a new church in London. My last Sunday will be Sunday 31st July and we are having a leaving tea that afternoon at the church starting at 4.00pm. All are welcome but it would be good to know numbers, so if you would like to come please could you let us know. Let us continue to pray in faith and give thanks for answered prayer: Kumar Jayaram – had surgery to his knee on 7th May and he is now at home recovering. The pain is easing in his right knee and he is making good progress. He thanks us for our prayers. Please pray for those who are unwell or needing support at this time: Barbara and Brian Jackson would like to thank everyone for their kind messages of sympathy and offers of support following the death of Barbara's mum. She is in a safe place now. Sam Blackband – is feeling stressed and suffering panic attacks as the end of the academic year approaches. Please pray that Sam will feel a sense of peace and calm. Pete Blackband’s Mum and Dad – are still poorly from an earlier bug. Please pray for healing and a full recovery for them both Ian and Carol Wolstencroft – following the death of Ian’s sister Sally. Please pray for Ian and Carol and Sally’s family at this sad time. Tony Shelley – is having treatment to his back today. Please pray that these injections will ease his back pain. Nick Coster – had his series of neurological tests but his MRI couldn’t be completed. That will now be rescheduled. Please pray that the tests will provide a diagnosis and a course of treatment to help Nick Matilda Cudjoe – now has a date for her back surgery in early June. Please pray for this surgery to go ahead and that all will go smoothly with the preop check and other preparations. Please also pray for: Paul & Rose Harvey – now making plans to move to Wrexham in North Wales where they will continue to work for WEC. They ask for prayers for their daughter Miriam that she will settle and make new friends in Wrexham and find an active church youth group. Bilton Grange URC (the church of Pete’s parents) – they are struggling following the sudden illness and death of their Church Secretary Joel and Claire Harri – hope to be in England this summer from mid-June to midAugust Pete and the elders as they continue to seek God’s guidance For the Project Max team and the responsibility they are carrying Max team ask us to pray for our young people as they engage with Project Max and start fundraising.
