How to run a Capure™ biogas upgrading
How to run
a CApure™
biogas
upgrading
plant
Put it on autopilot
CApure™ biogas upgrading plants are incredibly easyto-operate. All you need to do is to put the control
system on automatic - and the process run as efficiently
as possible. When the plant is up and running, physical
supervision (a walk through the plant and checking the
control system logs) should take no more than 4-8
hours per week. The automatic control system does
the necessary adjustments to reach more than 99.9%
methane efficiency.
It’s as simple as that.
Get an overview of
the whole process
You will get an excellent overview of the process
performance at a glance. The main page of the control
interface shows all key data. The quantity of the
incoming raw biogas, how much electrical energy and
heat that the process has consumed, how much heat
has been recovered, and the quantity of upgraded
biomethane. Within seconds you get a clear picture of
your production, cost and income.
Check the operating
statistics – a key
decision making tool
You always have access to a comprehensive
operating statistic database. Here you can find easyto-understand diagrams showing variations in the
biomethane production process, with warning alarms
if process values are getting close to pre-set tolerance
levels. You also get short and long term data for factors
such as energy usage vs. output, production time,
availability, production cost and income.
You’re always in contact
with the process
You don’t need to be present in the plant to have complete control of your biomethane
production. Via Internet, you can log on to your CApure™ process and receive exactly the
same interface on your computer that you would see at the control panel in the plant. Physical
distance is no obstacle. Check the plant on your laptop at the breakfast table, before you go to
a meeting, or, on your day off. Remember - you really don’t need to, it’s on autopilot.
Call the experts
Should you find irregularities in the production data,
please contact the experts at Purac Puregas. Our
helpdesk is always accessible, and our CApure™
experts can log directly on to your system to get
updated on your process status. They have a mirrored
image and use their experience and know-how to
adjust your process on-line, give immediate advice and
can suggest a more long-term upgrade to optimise the
biomethane production.
Easy-to-maintain
The CApure™ biogas upgrading plants are designed
and built according to a modularised concept where
serviceability is key. There is plenty of room for
engineers and tools. All valves and fixtures are easily
accessible.
Our contract service
agreements makes
life easy for you
Purac Puregas offers a complete package of services
and support to make sure that your plant always runs
efficiently. These packages include 24 hour telephone
support, remote control, and regular plant visits. The
result? Ensured energy efficiency and biomethane
quality via continuous supervision and process
optimisation. But even more importantly, long term
suggestions for improvement in our quest for technical
development. This is an investment that will pay off.
It will run, and run, and run
You can rely on our biomethane upgrading technology
to deliver day in and day out. We guarantee a minimum
of 96 % availability for all newly built plants. A great
example of excellent availability is the Göteborg Energy
plant in Gothenburg, Sweden. In its second year of
operation, plant availability reached 99.5%. Trust us
with your biomethane upgrading challenges.
