How to apply
Dear Student,
Faculty of Medicine ULB has an on line application form for all exchange students (Erasmus, Erasmus Belgica). If
you have been nominated for exchange studies at ULB by your university, please submit your application form
electronically. This application will be open from March 29, 2013. Note that the nomination should have been sent
to erasmus.medecine@ulb.ac.be

Please, read carefully our rules to come within the Erasmus program and our information about the choice of
lessons. (some lessons cannot be chosen independently of others)

Medical studies: Students are welcome for courses with/out clerkships or for clinical clerkships without
exams
Note that we limit the number of registration to our lesson: a maximum of 40 students will be accepted by
lesson. So it is important to register rapidly. As soon as the maximum number will be reached it won’t be
possible to register to this lesson.

Dental studies: Students are welcome for courses with/out clerkships

Clerkships will be proposed only to student registered to lessons of our 4 or 5 year. The choice of
clerkships will be done when in Brussels, with the Academic Coordinator.
This proposal is based on the program of 2012-2013. Please note that it may change for 2013-2014.
You will need a minimum of 20 minutes to complete the application. As long as you are actively entering
information, there is no time limit.
To fill in our application, you need this information at hand:
1. The name and contact details of the Contact Person/Academic Coordinator at your home university
2. The name and contact details of a person to be contacted in case of emergency
3. Your choice of lessons or clerkships according to our list of lessons available for erasmus students cf
web link above
Then, you will have the possibility to check the status of your application through this web link:

To avoid problems of registration and potential mistakes, we consider that the learning agreement fulfilled on our
website (and approved by your coordinator) is the only one valid.
Original printed version of the application duly filled in and signed by yourself and your Academic or Institutional
Coordinator must be sent directly by scan at erasmus.medecine@ulb.ac.be (OR faxed to +32 2 555 67 98) to the
Faculty and not to our “ Cellule Programmes d’Echanges ” before April, 30th 2013 :

The ULB organizes free French lessons for Erasmus students, you just have to register to this test on our
