The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, was tasked by the Department of Defense (DOD)
with conducting a study to determine the uses of zirconium oxychloride (ZOC). Several questions
were asked of ZOC users of throughout the federal laboratory system; their responses were needed to
complete the DOD study.
“The FLC Technology Locator identified points of contact at other federal laboratories that were working with
zirconium products. The input we received from other federal laboratories contributed to the successful completion
of the study.”—Project Leader, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division

The U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC)/ National
Automotive Center (NAC) recently established the Ground Vehicle Gateway (GVG) at https://tardec.
groundvehiclegateway.com/. The GVG provides a portal for easy submission of ground vehicle systems
technology concepts, ideas and innovations to TARDEC.
"With the assistance of the FLC Technology Locator, we were able to disseminate information about TARDEC's
Ground Vehicle Gateway. TARDEC is always on the lookout for innovative ideas that have the potential to
improve ground vehicle technology and solutions to meet the needs of the DOD. The GVG provides an easy
and convenient way for businesses to interact with TARDEC and submit those ideas and solutions." —Peter
DiSante, CRADA Manager, U.S. Army, TARDEC, NAC
