








Worked closely with Executive Director and 12-member Board of Directors, Mayor’s office, Chamber of Commerce
Executive Board, Planning Director, County Airport, National Development Council and local industrial corporations
to help retain, create, and attract jobs and businesses to the Cortland County area
Presented projects, interviewed and assessed consulting teams for projects, including multi-agency coordination,
working closely with National Development Council, and outside private interest groups
Prepared proposal for $3.2M in congressional funding to enhance County’s tourism and recreation (e.g., Tioughnioga
River Trail Project 2000). Worked closely with local business owners, the Waterfront Development Commission,
local officials, private sector and community groups and developed a 20-member Community Partnership for this
project.
Successfully presented economic development plan/program to create a new, self-sustaining Airport Industrial Park
at existing Airport site under strong political conflict.
Referred and managed all County PILOTs (Payment In Lieu of Tax) Agreements, assessed new PILOTs and prepared
documentation for execution by Board of Directors and financiers
Assisted Executive Director with press conferences, media releases, and functions (ribbon cuttings)
Worked closely with National Development Council and brokers on new 200-bed student housing project, downtown
beautification project, and airport industrial project
Worked closely with graphic design and marketing consulting companies to develop new marketing materials,

NY and Millville, NJ (1993 – 1996)
Prepared proposals and presentation materials for new projects. Helped build plan for new client base in Millville,

Coordinated new operations out of Millville, NJ branch office, including the acquisition of a small local engineering
firm to build a turn key office within 30 days.

