Sigma Breakthrough Technologies, Inc. (SBTI) Names Jerel “Jay” Rumbley
Vice President
San Marcos, TX, October 8, 2014-San Marcos, TX, October 15, 2014 – SBTI is pleased
to announce the appointment of Jerel “Jay” Rumbley to Vice President. Jay has over 20
years of business management and performance improvement experience leading an
array of manufacturing, distribution, and service organizations.
Jay specializes in designing and executing turnaround programs using process improvement methodologies to drive EBITDA performance, customer satisfaction, and culture change in discrete and continuous business processes.
Prior to joining SBTI, Jay served as Corporate Director of Lean Enterprise Transformation facilitating global performance strategy for Barnes Group Incorporated a multifaceted industrial manufacturing business. He also served as Director of Operational Excellence and Quality for Spartech Corporate leading Global Lean Six Sigma deployment
and Quality Systems Management across a network of global operations including Canada, Mexico, and Europe. His experience also includes P&L leadership as Plant/General
Manager for several business units including Tyco Electronics and Meridian Automotive
Systems.
Jay was raised in the Detroit, MI area where he earned a BS in Chemical Engineering and an
MBA in Finance from Wayne State University. He also earned the credential of Master Black
Belt from our very own SBTI while at Tyco Electronics.
