Liturgy Workshop
“We are a single flock under the care of a
single shepherd. There can be no separate
Church for persons with disabilities”
On Saturday, November 8, we will be having a
Liturgy Workshop from 9-11:30 am. All Greeters,
Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
(EM) and Ushers are asked to be present. The
morning will consist of a review of the Mass, to clarify
the role of each of the ministries and to prepare for
some changes that will take effect beginning the First
Sunday of Advent. This Liturgy Workshop is open to
anyone in the parish. I am asking that all current
ministers be present. If you are currently a Greeter,
Lector, EM or Usher, I ask that you RSVP by calling
the office (610-252-7381) or emailing the Parish
info@olomercy.com.

Spirit 2014 – Challenging Men to
Grow In Faith
Altar Server Training
On Saturday, November 22, we will be having an
Altar Server review and training session from 9 am12 noon. This is a mandatory meeting for all current
altar servers. We will be reviewing the roles and
responsibilities of Altar Servers and implementing
some changes. Please RSVP for this meeting via

Maronite
Catholic Church in Easton, has been
chosen as the only parish in Pennsylvania
who will be honored with the presence of
the relic of St. Rafka of Lebanon. Please
join us for Divine Liturgy on Thursday,
November 6, at 7 pm followed by
benediction with the relic.
40 DAYS FOR LIFE
The 40 Days for Life Prayer Campaign is still
continuing until Nov. 2nd at the Allentown Women's
Center (abortion facility), 31 S. Commerce Way,
Bethlehem, PA. You can make a sacrifice to pray for
one hour, Monday to Saturday, 7am - 7pm. When
prayer volunteers are praying, the no show rate for
abortions can be as high as 75%. For more

Healing Service
St. Jane’s Church is having a healing service on
Sunday, November 9, 3:00 pm. The first part of the
service includes Adoration of the Most Blessed
Sacrament, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, Rosary and
private prayer, scheduled from 3:00-4:00 pm.
Confessions will be heard during this time. The
second part of the service includes the Sacrament of
Anointing the Sick administered by a priest followed
by the laying on of hands by Mrs. Janet DeBellis.
Mrs. DeBellis was graced through a miracle to
receive God’s healing power to go forth to bring
God’s healing love and mercy to others.

We will be having a PROTECTING GOD’S CHILDREN
class at St. Bernard’s Oratory. If you work/volunteer with
children in the church, this is a mandatory class. Please
call the office to register for a tentative NOV. 2nd class from
11-2 pm. Parishioners and anyone in a ministry are
encouraged to assist, especially parents of PREP
students. NO CHILDREN are allowed in this class
because of its content. If you arrive more than 15 minutes
late, you will not be allowed to stay. Light refreshments will
be offered.
