AFTERNOON COMMUNION SERVICE If you are housebound or ill and find the morning communion service too long, you are welcome to attend the afternoon communion service today at 3.00pm.This is a short service lasting approx 30 minutes, with the opportunity to enjoy a cup of tea afterwards. Prayer Ministry is also available. Family and friends are welcome to accompany you. Jean Pillar CARNMONEY.ORG NEWS, EVENTS & NOTICES CONGREGATIONAL MEETING WEDNESDAY, 26 NOVEMBER There will be a meeting of the congregation in the Church at 7.30pm on Wednesday, 26 November to consider and approve plans for the new church halls project. This project is the fulfilment of a key part of our 2020 Vision strategy, and we are hoping for a well attended meeting so that we can go forward with confidence. John Dickinson, Minister. Junior Zone continues on Sat 15 November POP UP TOY SALE The Community Core Misssion team will be holding a Pop up Toy Sale in the Classroom on Wednesday 5 November from 11.00am – 1.00pm and Thursday 6 November in the Minor Hall from 7.00 – 10.30pm. The toys are new and nearly new and will be sold at a token price to help alleviate the cost of Christmas for young families. This is not a profit making project and any small amount of money raised will go towards another community project. Thank you to those who have already donated toys and there is still an opportunity to leave toys into the trolley in reception. SEMINAR - “FORGIVENESS IS HEALING”, P C I Board of Mission in Ireland are holding a seminar “Forgiveness is Healing” speaker Russ Parker (Acorn Christian Healing Trust) on Wednesday 5 November from 9.45am – 1pm. It will be held in The Assembly Buildings, Fisherwick Place, Belfast. Admission is free. If you wish to book a place please contact Jean Pillar. The theme this year is ‘Sent’ and will explore what mission and discipleship requires of us in 2014. Saturday 8 November, Assembly Buildings, Spires, Belfast. We have 2 tickets available for the full day event at £30.50 each. It is also possible to attend the evening session only. These conferences are for those working with children in their local church, community or school. Lucy Moore will be the keynote speaker who is the founder of Messy Church. SURVIVING THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS Griefshare is offering a 2 hour seminar to help grieving people Survive the Christmas holidays. It will give you comfort, hope and encouragement.
