STEWARDSHIP
GOSPEL THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
As we pray today for an increase of spiritual gifts, we are
reminded by the bishops’ pastoral on stewardship that
good stewardship of the Church “means cherishing and
fostering the gifts of all, while using one’s own gifts to
serve the community of faith”.
Stewardship- Gifts of God
Thank you for your generous gifts!

PRO-LIFE CORNER
A reality of war is the MIA (Missing in
Action), those who did not return home. In
the war on the pre-born, 57,000,000 human
beings are missing in action as well. They,
too, did not return home. Those soldiers who
did not return from war, and those pre-born
who died are all a great loss to our nation
and weaken us as a country.

In today’s Gospel Jesus challenges us
to “stay awake” by taking time to
seriously look at ourselves, the
priorities of our lives, and how we are
growing spiritually.
Ask yourself “What would Jesus
Christ do?” and then put your gift in the Society of St.
Vincent de Paul poor box so that those who are suffering
will be able to celebrate Thanksgiving.

STEWARDSHIP TIP OF THE WEEK: It’s not always
possible for the whole family to eat together, but making it
a priority at least some nights of the week can pay big
dividends for the Christian steward trying to raise a family
of faith. If you haven’t already, begin the family custom of
praying before meals in a spontaneous way. What was I
most thankful for today? Where did I see a situation that
calls for prayer? Let everyone take a brief turn. It may
lead to a great conversation after the “amen”.
YOUNG ADULTS OF BERKS COUNTY join the Office
