Amos is married to his longtime
sweetheart Louise Batiste for 20
years and they have two handsome

School in 1989, attended the

and enjoys spending time with them.
Amos knows that bringing fresh
ideas to the Teurlings Catholic
Advisory Council means being
committed to improving our school
academically and athletically along
with the physical plant.
Becket Breaux
At-Large
Elected 2011-2014
Becket Breaux is married to Kimberly
Breaux and is a proud parent of two
girls; Ashlyn, who is a Freshman at
TCH, and Kinley, who is in the 5th
grade at St. Bernard School and will
be enrolling into St. Genevieve
Middle School next year. We are
members of St. Bernard Catholic
Church in Breaux Bridge.
Currently I serve on the St. Bernard
Foundation Committee and have
done so for the past 6 years. I am
employed with the Louisiana State
Police and a business owner in St.
Martin Parish. Like you, I take great
pride in educating our children in the
Teurlings Catholic High School
Environment. As parents of a high
school age daughter at Teurlings
School, I have met many great
teachers and parents that make
sacrifices to educate our children in
a safe, disciplined, and drug free
environment. I know of the many
challenges we all face in raising and
educating our children in these
demanding times, a very tough but
rewarding task that our creator has
chosen for us. As a school board
member, I’ll use the values that
teach our children at Teurlings High
School to guide me during my
tenure.
Jennifer Hebert
St. Peter Parish
Appointed 2011-2014
I am Jennifer Hebert and I look
forward to serving on the Teurlings
Catholic High School Advisory
Council. I am a graduate of UL with a
degree in Elementary Education. I
have enjoyed working in the field of
education for fifteen years and I am
currently employed as the
curriculum coordinator of Carencro
Catholic School. My husband Ted
and I have three children. Our oldest
son Trent is a sophomore at
Teurlings. Our other two sons, Trey
and Josh, attend Carencro Catholic
School. We are parishioners of St.
Peters Catholic Church in Carencro.
Marshall Miller
St. Leo the Great Parish
Appointed 2011-2013
My wife’s name is Donna and we
have been married since 1990. We
have two daughters, Taylor, a 2011
TCHS graduate and Macy, who will
graduate from TCHS in 2014. I
graduated from Carencro High
School in 1983 and received my
Bachelor of Science Degree in
Business Administration, majoring in
Finance, from the University of
Louisiana-Lafayette in 1987. I have
worked for Lafayette Consolidated
Government for 22 years, currently
serving as Utility Rate Analyst for
Lafayette Utilities System.
I have been a member of Msgr. W.J.
Teurlings Knights of Columbus
Council 3202 since 1983. Over the
years I have held the office of
Recorder, Treasurer and since 2007,
Financial Secretary. I was a USSSA
umpire for 15 years. I have been a
member of the Acadiana Golf
Society since 1983 and the Carencro
Golf Association since 2005. I have
worked as a volunteer for the
Nationwide Tour’s Chitimacha
Louisiana Open Golf Tournament for
more than 10 years. I was a member
of the Sts. Leo-Seton Catholic
School’s Athletic Club for three
years. Donna and I were selected as
Sts. Leo-Seton’s Achiever/Supporter
of the Year for 2009 – 2010.
My goal in serving on the TCHS
Advisory Council is to see that our
school maintains a quality Catholic
11
education that gives our students a
chance to learn and grow in our
faith, along with a solid educational
foundation to be able to succeed as
integral parts of society.
Jeff Roesch
St. Elizabeth Seton Parish
Appointed 2011-2014
My name is Jeff Roesch and I am
very excited to join the TCH Advisory
Council representing St. Elizabeth
Seton Church Parish. This upcoming
2011-2012 school year, my wife and
I will have all 3 of our children
attending TCH. My daughter
Rebecca, a TCH Rebel cheerleader,
will be a senior, while sons Andrew
and Patrick will be a sophomore and
freshman respectively. Teurlings has
provided our children with a positive
educational and extracurricular
experience in a wonderful catholic
school environment. It is my hope
that I will add another unique
perspective to the advisory council
that will support our school’s staff
and administration mission to
continue to provide a quality
educational environment to our TCH
students.
I am married to the former Elizabeth
Buller from Ville Platte, La. We will
celebrate 20 years of marriage in
June 2011. Originally from New
Jersey, I received my undergraduate

leadership roles. I have been
involved with Lafayette Little League
baseball as a volunteer coach for the
past 4 years. I enjoy attending
Rebel athletic events and supporting
my children’s academic and athletic
endeavors. With what little spare
time I am left with, I enjoy playing
competitive tennis.
