The Center for Food Action provides emergency food, homelessness prevention and utility assistance to tens of thousands of individuals and families living in Northern New Jersey. West Bergen Mental Healthcare is holding a food drive from Thursday, December 4th to Thursday, December 18th. All items will be donated to the Center for Food Action. CFA relies upon the community to host food drives that will provide the needed groceries to fill emergency food packages. West Bergen is proud to host this food drive during the 2014 Holiday Season! What do we need? Supermarket Gift Cards-to purchase items not donated. Canned Meat, Tuna, and Chicken, etc Canned Hearty Soup Canned Vegetables Macaroni & Cheese Peanut Butter & Jelly Cereal (low sugar kids cereal welcome) Dry Milk (e.g., boxed Parmalat) Canned Fruit Instant Potatoes 100% Juice Baby Formula & Diapers sizes 3, 4, 5 & 6 Soap Dental Hygiene Products Please pack donated food in BAGS or BOXES | Please DO NOT use Plastic Laundry Baskets Please, no alcohol or clothing items | We welcome SUPERMARKET GIFT CARDS Please keep these separate | Do not include them in the boxes or bags Please help by bringing in any of the above items and placing them in a donation box at any of our 4 sites.
