Intercessory Prayer
“If one member suffers,
all the members suffer with it. . . .” (1 Cor. 12:26)
Attack on Jerusalem: There is much grief right now in our
Biblical Homeland, JERUSALEM. On Nov 18, 2 Palestinian
terrorists walked into a Jerusalem synagogue and brutally
murdered 4 rabbis who were praying. 1 officer died of severe
injury. Media showed the blood of victims mingled with a
tallit (prayer shawl) and a siddur (Jewish prayer book) lying
on the floor of the synagogue. 7 others were also wounded
and are now fighting for their lives. The whole country is in
shock.
The murder of Jews is a cause for celebration in the
Palestinian society. They are gathering everywhere to rejoice
over Israelis' grief, passing out candies and cakes, treats to
one another. Some are rallying holding axes. The photos of
the murders are being held up as heroes
There is unending, constant incitement against the very
existence of the State of Israel. Pray for the Lord's comforting
those who mourn the loss of loved ones; for a speedy
recovery for the injured, as well as for the peace of
Jerusalem; especially for the salvation of the Jewish people.
Pakistan:A young Christian couple, Masih and his wife
Shama, were brutally murdered on Nov 4th over an
unfortunate misunderstanding. Pray for their 4 young
children, left orphaned: Solomon, Zeeshan, Sonia and
Poonam. May the Lord's peace and comfort surround these
precious children and extended family members.
Lord, help me to love with both words and deeds,
To reach out to sinners and meet their needs;
Lord, burden my heart for those lost in sin,
With mercy and love that flows from within.
